In 1989 a decree was issued in Germany which laid down the responsibilities for those involved in the handling of dangerous goods. The trade publication Der Gefahrgut-BEAUFTRAGTE has been published ever since.

As of the 1st of January 2000, it has been a stipulation that safety advisers are required everywhere in the EU member states where dangerous goods are transported – whether in industry or trade, in the service industries and locally, in agriculture and in the armed forces.

Our readers are active in all of these sectors. On their behalf, we monitor dangerous goods transport from the forwarder to the consignee and explain the obligations and responsibilities of such transport. We know all the interface problems and we know how they can be overcome.
